WHO WE ARE
“Kurios” is a play on words. The pronunciation is like that of “curious” because curiosity is essential to creativity. The spelling is from the Greek, κύριος, which means LORD. This is taken from the Bible in Colossians 3:23-24:
“Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the LORD and not for men, knowing that from the LORD you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You are serving the Lord Christ.”
Kurios Creative Media aims to uphold Christian values in our hard work ethic, commitment to excellence and utmost integrity as we seek to serve our clients.
Kurios Creative Media is led by Thaddeus, an experienced creative professional, who is passionate about using his skills to help other businesses excel in the service they provide. He utilizes his network of other creative professionals who are reliable, hard workers and committed to a high standard of excellence to provide a variety of services.
Our Vision & MISSION
We aim to create excellent, creative, unique, compelling 3D, videos and designs to help our clients realize their creative projects. We highly value our client relationships and our top goal is their success. We provide consultation to help our clients figure out the scope and goals for their projects, establish a budget and realize their creative vision.

Design
We believe that a biblical standard for beauty is that its content must be true, its form must be aesthetically pleasing and it should serve a purposeful and useful function. This is our aim as we aspire to create and design truly beautiful work.
Detail
God gave detailed instructions about the Tabernacle for everything from the priestly garments designed “for glory and for beauty” (Exodus 28:2) to the burnt offering which was a “pleasing aroma.” (Exodus 29:18) Likewise, we pay careful attention to detail in our pursuit of excellence.
Dominion
In Genesis 1:28, God gives mankind the Dominion Mandate whereby we are to take the earth’s raw uncultivated materials and utilize them to make it productive and flourishing. We believe this is what we are fulfilling as we use our creative gifts to help others flourish.

Our Founder & Director
Thaddeus Maharaj, BFA, MTS
Thaddeus is the founder and creative director behind Kurios Creative Media. Born in the beautiful Caribbean twin-island Republic of Trinidad & Tobago, Thaddeus is a multi-disciplinary visual artist who has worked in various creative fields and Christian ministry. He holds a B.F.A. in 3D Computer Animation, a Diploma in 3D Animation & Visual Effects from Vancouver Film School and a Master of Theological Studies (M.TS). He has worked in the video game industry on AAA games at world-class studios, has taught 3D character art and animation at Sheridan College and worked as a freelance videographer, designer and illustrator. He also enjoys acrylic and oil painting in his leisure time.
With his wide experience and network, Thaddeus brings together the talent, passion and community that makes Kurios Creative Media work.
